Infinix Hot 5 launched in Kenya

In a committed effort to extend its products and services to its customers across the nation, Infinix Mobility,

a Hong Kong-based company, has unveiled the soon-to-be launched Infinix Hot 5, the successor to the Infinix Hot 4 smartphone which had a successful market spell.

As Infinix continues to give consumers the best experience with its smartphones, the brand has been innovative about bringing about a better shopping experience for its fans and customers in the region.

The Infinix Hot 5 is a fifth generation offering in the Hot series of affordable smartphones. The device packs a powerful battery, fingerprint scanner and Android 7.0 (Nougat). Infinix Hot 5 succeeds the Infinix Hot 4.

Showing off a cool looking body, the Infinix Hot 5 cannot be said to disappoint in terms of looks at this price. It is neither too bulky nor too thick for a device in this range. You will be able to get it in a variety of colours, including gold. Dubbed a ‘mobile cinema,’ the Infinix Hot 5 sports a large 5.5-inch IPS display.

The display has a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. While this will not deliver extraordinary colours, it should offer enjoyable, wide screen viewing experience.
You will find an 8 megapixel sensor with autofocus on the rear of the Infinix Hot 5. On the front is a 5 megapixel snapper for selfies. This combo should suffice for users, except those who are photography addicts. For storage, there is 16 GB of space. A microSD card slot lets you expand storage by up to 128 GB.

You can expect performance that is slightly better than what an average budget smartphone offers these days from this one. The Infinix Hot 5 comes equipped with a quad-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.3 GHz.

What looks likely to give it an extra boost is the provision of 2 GB of RAM. Infinix Hot 5 boots version 2.2 of its maker’s XOS software, which runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.
