In a statement communicated to biztechafrica the organization said of its latest offering: “Following closely on the launch of the BotswanaPost innovative mobile money solution, PosoMoney in April 2019, BotswanaPost is proud to announce the value added feature of PosoMoney Card-to-Wallet.”
This PosoMoney card-to-wallet facility allows PosoMonemobily users to top-up their account using any debit/credit card.
True to the company’s drive to enhance its digital offering through its E-services, BotswanaPost is on the pursuit on how to continuously improve services for its customers. A statement continued to explain this new trajectory saying; “This service provision is through our online platforms. The PosoMoney Card-to-Wallet facility we are introducing is testament to this.”
“Through this feature, PosoMoney users are able to manage their PosoMoney account and credit their wallets by linking them directly from any bank account. Customers will do this through PosoOnline, which is accessible at www.botspost.co.bw. This is in addition to the current top-up method of using a registered PosoMoney Agent, or via the Post Office.”
PosoMoney is a mobile money solution that works on any phone and any network and allows customers to cash-in, cash-out, pay bills, transact prepaid services and send money to any mobile number on any local network.
Since the rise to the office of CEO, Cornelius Ramatlhakwane has been making impressive developments for the Post. So far since the time immemorial, the organization made substantial profit in 2018. This year again in 2019, the company is in a comfortable financial position.
A career ‘postman,’ Ramatlhakwane had been CEO of the BotswanaPost effective the 1st of October 2015. In an earlier statement the then, Head of Strategy and Communication Lebogang Bok, said the appointment of Ramatlhakwane has been with the blessing of the entity’s Board of Directors. The Chief Executive Officer designate has been with the Post since 2009, as Head of Business Development overseeing BotswanaPost transition into e-commerce sphere in pursuance of the Icon of Excellence strategy.
