San Francisco-based cab aggregator Uber announced that it has completed 500 million trips in India since its launch in the country in 2013. The trips add up to mark Uber’s Six billion trips worldwide ever since its launch in 2010. The company entered Bangalore in 2013 and has expanded to 29 cities in India till date. The company also said that it has registered double digit growth in the country and almost 2.5 times annual increase in business as of June’ 2017. It's a major milestone for Uber, which said it is "winning in India," its largest overseas market.
